Location
It has a privileged position, close to most road junctions, such as Civitavecchia Harbour, only 10 minutes drive from the starting point for sea connections to Sardinia and just 45 minutes from Fiumicino Airport, for domestic and international connections. Tarquinia is situated just a few kilometres from Tuscany, and is very close to Capalbio and Monte Argentario.
It is situated less than an hour drive from Grosseto, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Siena, 2 hours and a half from Florence, 2 hours and a half from Pisa and just 50 minutes drive from Rome, which can be easily reached by bus, train or car.
Tarquinia is well linked with the Rome-Civitavecchia motorway, with the Strada Statale 1 or Via Aurelia, with the A12 Rome-Florence motorway and with Umbria. Furthermore, there is the Rome-Pisa-Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line.
